Hey everyone, the travel bug hits again, so I am looking for work as a bartender or social media management, even editing videos etc. Possibilities are endless, let's talk more:)

Hey!
I am a free spirited soul, a poetess, a model, aspiring actor, nature but also urban lover. I absolutely love to debate about anything, arts, politics, music, consumer society and mentality, cultural relativism, psychology, moral dilemmas, etc. People watching, good music, openminded people and the hustle and bustle of the city are my little things in which I enjoy. But equally I also love to disconnect and just enjoy nature, time for myself, which ultimately we all need, but are many afraid to do in our hyperproductive oriented society. I come from Ljubljana, Slovenia from a big family and I am the youngest, not counting our samoyed dog lady:). This year (2024/25) is my gap year and I want to make the most of it, e.g. grow, meet new people, cultures, learn new languages and skills. I love cooking, swimming, ice-skating, dancing, socialising, debating, photography, video editing, and lately I have been playing with sound manipulation (music production).

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Work is no stranger to me, as I live with my grandmother, who taught me how to cook, do house chores and gardening a little - so I see work where there is one. I also worked as a sales person in a souvenir shop and as a waitress at our local pub so I am patient, good with people and talkative. I almost finished my BA in cultural studies and finished my internship in a museum of banking in the archive, and wrote one of the intros for Ljubljana magazine. I published a poetry book and also wrote lyrics for an EP album for a Slovenian singer, in addition I also wrote voiceovers for my friends' performative arts projects. I love to read about cultural relativism, (post) structuralism, sociology, psychology, autobiographies etc. which are also the things which interlaced with my studies - ultimately the mentality behind it to see the connections between society(ies) and individual, the influence of their environment and various ideologies around them, rendered natural, even though, they are not. As I am a very sociable and self-reflexive person who pays attention for details I transfer my knowledge to everyday situations and vice versa so I take myself as a well rounded person, who is open minded and emphatic. I believe that there are no bad experiences in life, because you always learn something from it, you decide if it will make you grow or growl. As a model (5yrs now), I worked in multiple campaigns, commercials, music videos, editorials and also acted in Slovenian TV series, which I believe, made me a confident, adaptable and social butterfly kind of person - now that I think about it I was always the life of the party. I know Slovenian, Croatian/Serbian, English, Spanish (have my B2 certificate but nevertheless my Spanish needs practice, you know, if you don't use it you forget) and understand a bit of Italian, and a bit of Russian and German. I also played the violin for 8 years and sang in multiple choirs. When I was a bit younger I also volunteered at a local parish for summer child care.

Was noch ...

Love uno, Tarok (card game), playing volleyball, playing roles, love a good ballet/opera/theatre and a good dance! then again I also love just listening to the sea, or forest, the wind, rain, birds, walking and hiking (but easy!). Chill mornings have a special place in my heart.
