Description
We are a couple from Holland and France, we are spiritual, and are in the process of building a base for seasonal homes, retreats and conscious vacation stays. Our location is based on a quartz mountain and we are surrounded by granite stones. We have 12 springs and the place is very peaceful. It is mainly us running the property and then we have a Portuguese builder and permaculturist working with us.

We are Dutch and French and are happy to share some of our meditation practices with someone who will join us. My husband spent 3 years in silence so meditation is a big part of our lives. For the rest there are nice community events in the weekends like the local markets in Coja and Sandomil where you are welcome to join us when we go. We also want to start hosting community events at our place, if you have gift you would like to share you are welcome to.

Help
We’re looking for someone practical, hands-on, and a bit proactive to support us with a variety of basic handyman tasks around our home and land. Tasks include things like fixing doorknobs, painting, building vegetable garden boxes, maintaining the pool, organizing firewood, tidying up parts of the land and garage, and occasionally helping coordinate with our builder, permaculture designer, or calling a plumber when needed.
In addition, we’d love help with watering the garden, weeding, and caring for the planted areas. Ideally, you enjoy taking initiative and spotting small projects that need attention—as I’m not a natural handyman myself, so it’s a real gift when things are simply taken care of without needing direction each time.
If you like variety, being outdoors, and bringing a bit of order and function to a beautiful space, this could be a great fit.Languages

We have a studio available that has access to the garden. You have your own kitchen, bathroom (with bath tub) and bed room. Depending on the period of the time we might have a tent available as well. This will be discussed in advance. .
We offer 5 hours work day which is 542 euro per month. (minimum hourly wage)What else ...
There are nice local markets on Saturdays, we have river beaches at a 7 min and 15 min distance (by car). We have a spring water pool that you can use. There are amazing trails close by in the Serra. There are yoga classes in the area. We live alcohol and smoke/drug free and would like to find someone ideally who lives the same or uses those substances mindfully.
