We stayed with Kathryn for around 8 weeks and had the best time with her and her beautiful pets (2 dogs and 1 cat). She has a great veggie garden which produced veg every day which we had for our meals which were always lovely. She introduced us to her amazing friends and we joined her for several social outings at the local pub and markets in the

We helped out with various jobs on the property from building a garden bed wall, laying flooring, putting up interior cladding, processing timber (distressing & sanding), painting, making window frames, installing insulation, watering the veggie garden and other bits and pieces.
We spent almost every night out on the back decking watching the sunset and the horses in the paddock playing with her dogs, several nights on the tequila and having lots of laughs. She has some awesome stories to tell and is really knowledgable about everything to do with plants and gardening. We learnt a lot from her, she helped us through some tough personal times and has become a good friend (our Australian mum). The dogs are amazing and will love you and the cat WILL sleep on you whether you like it or not (we liked it).
We can't recommend staying with Kathryn enough it has been a fantastic experience and we're really thankful for her wonderful hospitality. Thank you Kathryn <3

Thank you very much, Kathryn, for the opportunity to stay at your place. It was an incredibly fulfilling and memorable experience. I still vividly remember how much your warm message meant to me when I was struggling to find accommodation in Melbourne.
Your home was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable, providing a perfect environment for me

I also had the pleasure of meeting your wonderful neighbor, Sandra and her family. Spending evenings with both of you, enjoying delicious meals and wine while talking and admiring the stunning scenery, was truly a highlight of my stay. It completely refreshed me and made me feel at home.
I hope to visit Melbourne again in the future, and I would love to stay with you once more. By that time, I look forward to seeing the seeds we planted grow and using them to cook together.
Thank you again for such a remarkable experience.
