Description
We are a middle-aged couple who live in a beautiful house in the countryside. We have liked (and we still like!) traveling and getting to know different cultures and places. We have a son and a daughter, (also a very traveler) who stop by our house from time to time, but they live closer to the border with Spain. We live in a very interesting area due to its cultural and linguistic plurality, the Basque Country. It is a very beautiful area, due to its orography, vegetation and architecture. It is an ideal place for excursions, and 40 minutes away by bicycle we have the first beach of the many in the area. At home we speak French and Spanish interchangeably. I can also speak English and a little German. We like to share, without being invasive. The house and garden are large and we could use a hand for maintenance and small DIY.

Somos una pareja de mediana edad que vivimos en una preciosa casa en el campo. Nos ha gustado ( y nos sigue gustando!) viajar y conocer culturas y sitios diferentes. Tenemos un hijo y una hija, (también muy viajera) que pasan de vez en cuando por casa, pero viven más cerca de la frontera con España.
Vivimos en una zona muy interesante por su pluralidad cultural y lingüística, el País Vasco.
Es una zona muy bella, por su orografía, vegetación y arquitectura. Es un sitio ideal para hacer excursiones, y, a 40 minutos en bicicleta tenemos la primera playa de las muchas de la zona.
En casa hablamos indistintamente Francés y Castellano. También puedo hablar Ingles y un poco de Alemán.
Nos gusta compartir, sin ser invasivos.
La casa y el jardín son grandes y nos viene bien una mano para el mantenimiento y pequeño bricolaje.

We are very available to accompany you and make you discover surrounding towns and cities. We have a lot of family around us, young children and nephews for 25 years... and our generation. We like to share ideas, experiences and meet people from other cultures.

Help
We can use help with the maintenance of the house and garden. You also have to take care of the pool before summer. Some computer help will be welcome. Depending on the task, we work together.
