    Description

    - Availability for a live-in Aupair to start from July 1st. Must also help with looking after dogs. Minimum stay 8 weeks.

    - Availability for help to look after the horses from 1st of September. Minimum stay 8 weeks. Experience with horses preferable. 😁 own Workaway accommodation, really nice 3-bedroom apartment 2 mins walk away from my house, on the farm living with 1 tenant and 1 other workawayer.

    Strictly no smokers please.

We are a couple in our late-30s, we have a baby girl called Serena (born in October 2024), 2 dogs (Ralph & Lauren), 12 thoroughbred horses, 4 Connemara ponies, 23 cows, a few chickens, 2 outdoor cats. We are mostly passionate about horseracing. Therefore, you would learn a lot about thoroughbreds and young horses, so, some experience with horses is a plus but not a necessity.

We welcome Workawayers to meet new people and enjoy their company. Because we are in a rural setting (bus stop just outside our gate) this would suit someone with a rural or agricultural background best. Ideally, someone who likes and knows about how to interact with animals in general, for example, our cows, cats, dogs and horses. We want you to have an enjoyable experience with us so we will take good care of you and you will genuinely want to help us in return too.

Riding is only available - on occasion - for Workawayers who wish to ride, for fun, if they are excellent riders. I am not a riding instructor and I do not provide insurance with regards to riding. Extra work will be expected in exchange for riding.

Proficient English is preferable. Although I do speak Spanish & French. I am not an English teacher so I may be able to help but you must be able to adapt. You must also be trustworthy, reliable, friendly and have a good sense of humour.

Tasks vary depending on the weather and your specific skills. We only ask you to help with activities you are comfortable with and enjoy doing.

    No couples, sorry!

Bowling, Golf club and Pub are within walking distance. There is a Bus stop just outside the farm with services to Dublin airport, Dublin city centre, nearby towns & further.

We are a friendly couple currently renovating our home which is built as a Spanish villa. We have a very big garden, a lot of land, 2 overly friendly big dogs and 10 horses too.

We hope you will feel part of the family and enjoy helping in the ongoing activities.

Workawayers will never be asked to help with any tasks related to the business and will only be helping with our animals, in our private home/ garden.

We'd welcome your help which may include: powerwashing patio/terrace, cooking, organizing/Rearranging rooms, moving furniture around, dog walking, dog/ cat/ horse feeding, taking old tiles off walls, log splitting, tidying the kitchen after meals etc.

Workaways can do their own activities on their days off but are not to stay around in the apartment. If you are staying in the apartment you will be asked to help in return for your use of the accomodation, food, electricity, heating etc.

Own bedroom in a lovely 3-bedroom shared apartment. The apartment especially common areas must be kept extremely tidy and clean to ensure all flatmates keep getting along. As I do not live in the apartment I expect you to notify me as soon as you notice a problem or are unsure with something in the apartment.
