    Description

We are a rock climbing park located in Chilean Patagonia, one of the regions with the greatest potential for outdoor sports in Chile and South America.

We are currently in need of volunteers to care for the shelter and our cats, feeding them, and being kind and caring to them because they are our family and a fundamental part of the shelter.

We will not be at the shelter because we have a two-week trip scheduled, from August 22nd to September 8th.

☆ We offer our site as your unlimited climbing venue.
☆ You will have a cabin to stay in, including a bed and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
☆ We invite you to read all the information below.
☆ In return, we only need your help with the care of the shelter and the cats.

The project has a natural park surrounded by rock walls perfect for practicing this sport.
If you're a climber, bring your complete climbing gear.
We currently have a beautiful campsite with cold-water showers, high-quality eco-friendly restrooms, a cooking area, campfire areas, a fun slackline, and 30 climbing routes for all levels, including climbing school and multi-pitch routes.
All of the above can be used at your leisure.

The refuge is a place surrounded by nature where we choose to live a sustainable, respectful, and environmentally friendly life.

    Important Information:

We do not have hot water or electricity.

We suggest bringing a solar charger and flashlights.

We use firewood for cooking and heating; you can bring your stove and camping gas.

The working hours are 15 hours per week, and we do not provide food.

The nearest town is 7 km away, where you can stock up on food without any problems, as it has several convenience stores.
As a means of transportation to get to town, there's a bus that runs on Mondays and Fridays at approximately 9:15 a.m. and returns the same evening at 5:00 p.m. The trip costs $1,000 CLP.

At the moment, my partner and I are the only ones organizing the trip.

One of the benefits will be:

Improving your technique if you have knowledge since you will live just meters from the climbing walls and it will be impossible to resist climbing.
If you are a climber, bring your complete climbing equipment.
The other benefit without a doubt is that you will learn to live in the middle of nature, among forests of native trees and the varied vegetation that invites you to discover as you become integrated into nature. Getting to know the flora and fauna up close.
Patagonia and forests in general are a living treasure.

Language exchange will be generated, which makes the experience and stay comprehensive.

The best activity for free moments in a climbing park is CLIMBING, a luxury for those who love this sport, although you can also do many other activities such as going fishing in the Ibáñez River or going swimming in Lake General Carrera, going to Visit the farmers and share a mate with them or simply enjoy the relaxation of being in a natural environment as beautiful as Patagonia. We are very close to Cerro Castillo, one of the most famous treks to do in Patagonia.
