Description
***EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A ROAD TRIP OF A LIFETIME***
Details below description.
A group of 3 Australian guys taking on a dream project in the most beautiful part of this amazing country. We are building a multi level structure from the ground up sitting on a hill overlooking the Oaxaca coast. This construction is taken on using traditional Mexican albañil methods and materials and most importantly conscious about our environment, community and waste.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not host all year round, for this year we are only available between NOV '25 - MAR '26

Are you someone who is savvy with recording and capturing great times, who enjoys being the person behind the lens? Someone who also has the ability to edit and put together content?
We are offering an opportunity to come along with us on a road trip of a lifetime. We will be driving 2 classic vintage vans from Vancouver, Canada to Puerto Escondido, Mexico this October! This is an 8000km trip over 2-2.5 weeks. We have done this trip on a few occasions now and we like to think we know what we are doing when it comes to living on the road. A lot of overnight stops will be camping, along with the occasional hotel stay.
What we are asking from you, is to come along and enjoy the ride with us, and help document all of the fun along the way. In exchange we will cover your accomodation and fuel costs and feed you along the way. We are currently in the process of confirming our route, but will roughly be driving down the Pacific North Coast, then making our way east towards Texas, crossing the border into Monterrey and heading south through some breath taking Mexican landscape to Oaxaca.
Once in Puerto Escondido, you would also be welcome to stay with us and be apart of our volunteering opportunities with our project. If this sounds like something you would love to be apart of, please reach out and we can discuss further.

We are looking for good people who don't mind getting dirty and enjoy physically pushing themselves in a job site environment.

Aside from working on the construction, there are other areas we need help with including cooking, cleaning and basic maintenance of the camp. Running errands like picking up materials, supplies and food.
If you can ride a motorbike this is definitley a plus! We have motorbikes that we can share for work tasks, and also rent for after hours use pending availability.
Also looking for other cool skills; Video/Photo/Edit/Social media/Artists (painting)/Teach español.
If you're a fun person we will have you. The only requirement is to have a lot of spirit.Languages

We can provide a tent, under a shaded area. This is also how the host is staying. There is an outdoor kitchen, shower, long drop toilet. We cook our food on a barbecue, daily breaky and lunch to be supplied, along with refreshments. There is also an abundance of restaurants within walking distance.
What else ...
You need to be able to handle camping fulltime, living a bit rough. The floor is dirt, the shower is outside, it can rain alot. But, the fire is warm, the people are real and the dream is alive.
