    Big Hello to workawayers

We’re Kathy and Chris, and we’d love to welcome you to our off-grid home in Northern NSW. If you’ve got energy, love being outdoors, and enjoy helping nature thrive—this could be the perfect spot for you.

We live next to a beautiful nature reserve with over 40 bird species and stunning views stretching to the QLD border ranges.

There’s plenty to get involved in—weeding, gardening, planting, mulching, composting, and bush regeneration in our native tree plantation. Whether you're experienced or just keen to learn, we’d love your help.

You'll have your own space on the property—ideal for van-lifers—with power, water, a hot shower, and toilet.

We ask for about 20 hours of help a week, and in return offer great food, comfy accommodation, and a friendly, relaxed vibe. We grow our own veggies, bake bread, keep stingless bees, and enjoy kayaking, music, and swimming in nearby creeks.

Our friendly dog Stevie will make sure you feel at home too.

We’re just 10 minutes from Murwillumbah and can pick you up from the bus station.

    Warm regards,
    Kathy and Chris
