Description
We are a 3 generation family that needs help with yard and house maintenance from time to time.
SHORT NOTICE inquiries rather than long range planning works best for us as the help required and accommodation changes too rapidly to make arrangements months ahead.
We live on the ocean in a lovely small town on the Sunshine Coast of B.C., just 2.5 hours from Vancouver Int'l Airport. It is accessed by ferry or seaplane, and would be considered a remote destination. Sechelt (a bigger town) is a 30 minute drive, and the entire coast is ~150 kilometres from one end (Langdale) to the other (Earls Cove).
We eat good food, health and wellness is a priority. PROJECT is located at a 1.3 acre lake view property in downtown Madeira Park near amenities and highway exit. The work is light and hours flexible so there’s lots of time for exploring the area.
Accommodations in a clean, private, vintage travel trailer. Suits single or couples with or without a vehicle. Bringing your own Motorhome is ok. Excellent WiFi. Pet(s) only with prior approval please. We currently have no pets.

Madeira Park, Pender Harbour is central to hiking trails, fishing adventures, sightseeing, culinary and cultural experiences in our scenic, protected harbour. There are 11 lakes in the area and over 5000 years of First Nation history. We are a family of longtime residents in the community. Our business has been commercial fishing for 4 generations.
Help
Helping maintain the yard & garden are priority chores we need help with. Good to have a vehicle but not necessary. We have 11 lakes, ocean beaches, water sports and sport fishing as top recreational activities. The scenery is spectacular, we occasionally see whales, seals, porpoises from the shore. Thank you for considering us!

Accommodation
Stay in a vintage 14’ travel trailer on a serviced RV site. Trailer is spotlessly clean, cozy and comfortable with new cushions, tv, heat, and potable water. It has two twin size beds but ideally it’s set up for one person with a bed and table. Mattress is 6” luxury foam and very comfortable. Smoking outside only. Fast Internet. Off street parking and a private outdoor area. Bbq and ice maker. Shower and bath tub in the fenced and private garden (during warm weather), you pick your time of access. This feature is absolutely lovely and when run as a bnb in the past, guests always commented that it was their favorite part of the stay.

Pender Harbour offers beautiful scenery and peaceful living. We are super tidy and respectful people and expect same. Please contact us using the Workaway app only. (If we are hosting you, it’s ok to communicate using What’s app or cellular services using the numbers above because we have found the workaway app can be slow in forwarding messages). Space for parking camper vans
Large yard but have some obstructions in getting it in the driveway. An RV around 26 feet is best. Septic, potable water, 30amp serviced RV site with privacy fence.
Can possibly accept pets
We love animals but please ask first before arriving with a pet. It might not be ok to have a pet on site. Thank you.
