    Description

We are now looking for volunteers and workers for the 2025 season.

Hello from the rock! We are a small company operating two hostels across Newfoundland. Our flagship hostel is in Gros Morne National Park. We've been running for 6 years in our main hostel now and we're full of energy and enthusiasm. We mainly cater to the active/outdoorsy crowd, but we do get all sorts. We are pet friendly and have hundreds of guests passing through our doors every summer. We also operate a tour company where we run hiking trips into Western Brook Pond (google it). Workawayers with us have a chance to get up the valley.

We are not active on this website very much, and the best way to get ahold of us is to send us an email or phone call directly!

Work at the hostel involves general cleaning, bed making, building maintenance, front desk duties and assisting guests with their trip plans. This is a paid position, at $17 per hour.
On top of all of this, workers will get a chance to do the famed Western Brook Pond hike for free.
There's a lot to learn here, so we do require a minimum stay of 4 weeks, preferably longer.
