Description
We’re just back from 4 months travelling with our kids around Asia and Europe. We’d love to host you!!!
Come and stay with our family of 5 on our lifestyle block in Te Horo, on the Kapiti Coast. We moved back to NZ in 2018 after working and travelling extensively for 19 years abroad. This gave us a love of different cultures and we're excited to host visitors in our country, and our home.
Our house is active :) there's always plenty going on thanks to our three kids (Isaac, Yulisa and Ella) plus Milo our dog, Sugar our cat, 2 cows, 2 sheep and 4 chickens!
We got involved with cultural exchange because there are ALWAYS things we need help with here :) Most of the work is outside, so we need people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. If it’s raining there is inside work to do.
We love to host people from abroad who are like-minded and who share their experiences of traveling the world with our family. We are thrilled to be able to open our home and our family to travelers, many of whom are from countries we have spent time in.

We are a fun, active, loving family living in a rural setting in NZ. We've traveled a fair bit of the world, we love different cultures and it's something we will never stop exploring. We love where we live and we love to share it with others

Help
There is work to do around the property helping with things like gardening, clearing the section of unwanted trees, picking fruit and lots of other things which go into keeping a property of this nature. It is largely manual labour and there is no need for childcare support.
In exchange for 25 hours work a week you receive accommodation in our beautiful home (a large room that can either be setup as a King bed or two singles, complete with it's own ensuite). Food is provided for you to self cater breakfast, lunch is often left overs or Ronel will whip something up like home made soup or a quich. Dinner is prepared for you Monday to Thursday. Friday through Sunday we provide the food and you can prepare your own as we are often out and about with the kids and we find people are keen to get into Wellington and see the city. Feel free to take a packed lunch. We have wi-fi available throughout the house.
Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions - many thanks for reading. Hope to see you soon!!!
