Giulia stayed with us for the last 7 weeks, joining us right in the peak season. The day she arrived, she unpacked, rolled up here sleeves, cracked her knuckles and got going. Cheerfully and very efficiently she jumped on any task assigned to her. And as soon as she was finished she would ask what else needed to be done. You can tell immediately
… read more that Giulia is a hospitality pro and a very seasoned traveller the way she seamlessly blended into her new environment.
On her off days, Giulia visited the nearby cities and towards the end of her stay she walked on the Camino all the way to Finisterre, bringing her stay with us to a very symbolic finish.
On a personal level Giulia is an enchanting person. We are going to miss our fun conversations, lots of laughs and relaxed companionship. The only moment Giulia gets serious is when she takes out her playing cards, starts shuffling and gets down for a round of scopa.
We wish her best luck for all her future travel plans and will always keep an open door for her should she decide to come back to visit us.

Timo saved our back when he jumped on board when we had received a very short term cancellation from another Workawayer. And we could not have been any luckier. From day one on his 6 weeks stay he took on any task we threw at him. We just had to explain to him what needed to be done once and then he finished the task as if he had been doing it for

In his spare time he worked on his master thesis, fixed my bikes, taught us to cook German Knödel and explored our local surfing beaches and bike tracks. A genuine one-person-orchestra!
Personally, Timo is always in a good mood, very polite and gentle around people and always good for an interesting conversation.
We wish him all the best on his ongoing travels and many more amazing experiences as a Workawayer.
Stay in touch, amigo!

Wonderful experience that I can recommend to anyone. I received a very warm welcome from Thomas and his family. The hotel is located in the countryside right on the Camino. The surrounding towns and beaches are within easy reach and there is plenty of free time to do lots of things. I mostly worked in the kitchen in the evenings. I was nervous at

He makes sure that you only work the agreed hours and pays you fairly. I had my own room and my own bathroom. The guests are international and very open-minded. The experience was entirely positive and I wish him all the best. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Over the last 6 weeks we were privileged to have Larissa with us, with all her energy, her positivity and her eagerness to lend a helping hand to whatever task came up.
Larissa picks up super fast on new tasks and takes great care and complete ownership of everything she touches. We could 100 % rely on her as a part of our team.
On a personal

This was my first work experience and it was more than I expected.
I learned a lot about hospitality, housekeeping, serving, cooking, gardening and construction building. Tomas is a really kind and interesting guy and is always there for any need. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work for a few months with him. Also, Boente and

Georgia has spend 10 weeks helping us with our B&B on the Camino de Santiago in Galicia, Spain. Her main tasks were housekeeping and preparing the pilgrim dinner every night.
We have been running our B&B for many seasons now and have made great experiences with working travellers through WorkAway. And Georgia is hands down as good as it can

She takes up new routines and instructions super fast, you literally only have to explain things once to her and she gets going. Amazing. She completes here assignments independently and very thoroughly and once she is done she always offers herself to help in additional tasks.
Personally, she is very pleasant, always smiling and non intrusive. She is very comfortable around the guests and received many compliments from them. Her English is excellent and we enjoyed a lot having interesting conversations with her.
We would loved to have her with us for a longer time, but her itinerary is driving her further north and we wish her all the best on this journey. We've noticed that there's less than 3 photos uploaded to your profile.
