Description
We are currently looking for someone to house-sit and care for our two new kittens when we go to Bali (Tigger and Reggie) from 29 June- 18 July 2025 (About 3 weeks). Ideally a female solo traveller.
We live in East Auckland (3yrs) after having lived on waiheke island for 12 years. I am widowed male with a 18 year old daughter who attends high school. We have two new kittens after our beloved cat Harry passed away 6 months ago.
Jade and I both enjoy the company of having visitors to stay.
I now work from both home and Waiheke Island. We renovated the Waiheke house into a boutique short term accomodation.
Life is more easy these days so our Helpers would only be required to help with general day to day tasks, Either cooking, Cleaning or other jobs around the home so our role suits independent travellers with some domestic experience and who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty .

Improve your english, come adventure with us if you want. We can show you where all the nice walks and views are, we live just 10 mins walk from the water, or if you prefer just to do your own thing, its a great place to just chill..
Help
The role is generally more relaxed, helping out around the house with whatever you’re comfortable with. For us is nice to have help with some cleaning and small jobs but we don’t have any fixed schedule. We no longer supply food as we do not have enough work here so we are happy if you want to use the kitchen utensils you can make your own. occasionally I need help with a project.. Drivers licence can be useful . We are happy to give you tips and can show you around all the best places and give you a locals perspective =)

Explore the Eastern suburbs coastline, Bus/Train to Auckland including museums and galleries, Cornwall Park, Albert Park, Rangitoto island, Waiheke island and many other lovely public spaces. Day trips to 'Hobbiton' or West Coast beaches like 'Piha'
