    Description

My name is Vincent. I have been living in British Columbia for about 20 years. I live with my dog Sacha and except for 6 weeks at home during the summer, I work in a small francophone school in Powell River. My children are with me half-time and I love to enjoy my little piece of paradise. If I'm not at home or work, I'm on my boat fishing or discovering an island in the Strait of Georgia.

I live in the BC Rain Forest on a large acre in Lund near the Pacific Ocean. The main building and the cabin are under constant renovation. DIY is an advantage. The different gardens require maintenance and work depending on the season. Firewood, maintenance of the yard, and renovation work are examples of help on the property. Raising the shrimp cages and catching salmon are examples of assistance needed at the end of the day...

The second floor of the main house is being renovated and two bedrooms are under construction. Depending on the season, a platform for a tent is available. The cabin is currently under renovation. I do have a guest room upon request. Meals can be shared and prepared as a group. Since I work weekdays and arrive in the late afternoon, dinners can sometimes be ready in the early evening...

Lund is 30 minutes from Powell River and a bus is available twice a week. Since I work there, carpooling is also a possibility. The "Sunshine Coast Trail" is a very popular forest trail. During the summer season, Lund is a popular tourist attraction. My boat allows me to travel anywhere from "Desolation Sound" to visit the different islands around.

Yes, the property has access to high-speed unlimited internet. 2 cats and a dog are part of the family. The house and cabin are smoke-free environments.
