    Join us in creating a tranquil retreat on the beautiful Awhitu Peninsula!

    Are you ready to escape to a serene one-hectare lifestyle block on the Awhitu Peninsula? We're looking for enthusiastic help as we transform an old farmhouse into a cozy retreat space. I'm a yoga teacher and health coach, and teach online yoga and from home. .

    What is Offered :
    Accommodation: Stay in a quaint, if slightly ramshackle, farmhouse with all the essentials. (yes, we have fast wi-fi)

    Activities:You are welcome to participate in yoga sessions and enjoy plant-based cooking in our vegetarian household.

    Experience: Embrace the peaceful beauty of the Awhitu Peninsula, just an hour south of Auckland Airport (off-peak traffic).

    What We Need?
    Work Variety: Help with housework, maintenance, planting and some social media tasks.

    Ideal Candidates: While we prefer couples or groups of travelers. There’s always someone in the house, so a solo traveler will have company.

    Nature's Beauty: Within 15 minutes, you can reach Hamiltons Gap, Kariotahi Beach, Awhitu Regional Park and Waiuku Township.

    Future Projects: We’re starting a native planting project (no animals for now, but we do have two amazing cats!).

This space allows for personal growth, reflection, and the chance to immerse yourself in a serene setting. It's classic kiwi countryside, next to a dairy farm and near a small Auckland township.

    Three vegetarian meals a day. Breakfast and Lunch are normall shared,

    Help Required:
    Maintaining and developing our organic vegetable patch and lifestyle block. There's always something to do, from weeding and maintenance to painting and mending fences.

    Help Options:
    Outdoor Tasks: Help with the organic vegetable patch, weeding, and maintenance. There are always fences to paint and mend.

    Indoor Tasks: If you prefer lighter tasks, we welcome assistance with painting and general household tasks.

    Skills: Building skills are a bonus but not necessary. We're happy to share our skills with you!

    Expectations:
    We ask that you can work independently and feel comfortable starting and completing tasks with minimal supervision.

    I have experience working in retreats and ashrams, so I understand that you're also on holiday. We are open to negotiating hours—whether you'd like to work more on weekends to have weekdays off, or any other arrangement that suits your plans.

    Please note there is limited bus service, so having your own vehicle is necessary. Our WiFi is fantastic, but the bathroom is shared.
