    Description

    Hello!

We are Nina and Simon – a sibling duo from Graz, Austria.

We're offering a unique opportunity to stay at our historic hunting lodge from 1915, nestled in a large garden right in the village of Hausmannstätten (starting with 1st of July). The city of Graz – Austria’s second-largest city – is just 15 minutes away by public bus.

Our lodge is a peaceful and inspiring place for nature lovers, artists, and anyone seeking a quiet yet connected stay. In the early mornings, you might spot deer and pheasants right from the terrace or kitchen window. It’s the perfect mix of village calm and city access – ideal for those who enjoy their independence and a bit of solitude.

We’re currently looking for responsible and self-motivated Workawayers – preferably couples with some previous Workaway experience (!) – who are happy to spend some time on their own.

    What we offer:
    -Free accommodation in the house
    -Flexible, self-organised time schedule
-A place to retread but still easily connected
-A beautiful garden, workshop, and large loggia (covered balcony) for your own creative or energy work
-Occasional shared weekend trips or dinners, if it fits for everyone

    What we ask:
-15–20 hours of work per week
-Tasks vary depending on the season and your skills: gardening, painting, restoration work, small repairs, organising, general maintenance
-You take care of your own food and meals, as we are not living on-site (we both live in Graz)

We usually start with a two-week stay – if everything feels right, a longer stay is definitely possible.

If this sounds like a good match for you, we’d love to hear from you!

    Warm regards,
    Simon

On the one hand, this is a place of power for the possibility of doing energy work. On the other hand, there are many possibilities because it is in the middle of Styria. You can go hiking, visit cultural exhibitions, the Graz Opera, the famous Styrian wine route. Or you can make day trips to Solvenia or Croatia. Vienna is 2 hours away by car.
