    Description

Hello workawayers, we are Laura (German) and Pedro (Spanish) - our finca is located in Andalusia, right between the sunny city of Málaga and the historic Córdoba. Join us on our rural finca with daily tasks under the shade of our olive trees!

Each day brings something different: from taking care of the vegetable garden, helping with small renovation projects, or lending a hand with our animals, to cooking, cultivate herbs, or building outdoor spaces.

We live a simple, down-to-earth life and love meeting people from all over the world. You’ll have the chance to learn about olive farming, local customs, and rural Spanish culture. In your free time, you can visit charming white villages, hike nearby trails, or take day trips to Córdoba or Málaga. There’s also time to simply relax under the olivetrees, read a book, or enjoy deep conversations under the stars.

Whether you're skilled with your hands or just bring a good spirit and willingness to learn – we’d love to welcome you into our small community project!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying with us means more than just lending a hand – it’s a chance to become part of our little community and experience rural life in Spain among olive trees, animals, and nature. We love sharing stories, traditions, and (vegetarian) meals, and we see every Workawayer as a unique guest who brings something special. You’ll be welcomed like a friend and included in daily life – from cooking together to exploring the countryside. We’re happy to share insights on olive farming, teach local recipes, and share the rhythm of living close to nature. In return, we’re curious to learn from your culture, language, skills, and perspectives.

  • Help

    Help

We would like to invite an enthusiastic volunteer to help with some general tasks around the house, such as watering plants, weeding, watering trees, conserving vegetables in summer, cooking and helping to clean the kitchen. Taking care of our animals would be a great help - we have olive trees in organic and regenerative cultivation and hope to integrate sheep this year to further improve our soils! We are also open to other ideas, such as the integration of olive wood or crafting olive oil soap or candles.

Please note that there will not be any business activities, but only maintenance work such as small repair tasks, gardening or animal care.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Accommodation to be discussed :) we can offer you different options! We have a free room for you, but if you're coming with a camper van, there is sufficient space under the olive trees. Kitchen and bathroom are to be shared with us (but there is also an extra outdoor toilet). We can also offer you a camping tent :)

Currently, we have many cats and dogs living with us, some geese as well as Peppa, the pig.

In summer, we like to cook with our fresh produce such as tomatoes from our veggie garden and would love to share our passion for food with you! Of course we can offer lots of fresh organic olive oil!

As part of the exchange, we provide three meals a day. We are a vegetarian household and love sharing wholesome, seasonal meals made from local and homegrown ingredients. You’ll have free access to our vegetable garden, where you can harvest your own fresh produce, and we’re happy to cook and eat together when possible!

On days when schedules don’t align, we’ll make sure there are plenty of ingredients available so you can prepare your own meals. Whether you're an experienced cook or just learning, our kitchen is open for creativity and sharing. We’re also always curious to try recipes from your home country!
