  My name is Barbara, and together with my family, I manage the place, a charming and historic guesthouse in Bled. Our villa has been welcoming guests for over 70 years, and we take great pride in offering warm hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms, and homemade breakfasts that start the day with a smile.
  
  We are looking for a reliable and friendly person to help us with room cleaning, breakfast preparation, and garden maintenance. Our work environment is warm, respectful, and focused on quality — we truly care about both our guests and our team.
  
  The place is located in Bled, one of the most beautiful destinations in Slovenia, known for its picturesque lake, iconic island, and fairy-tale castle. In the summer, you can enjoy swimming in the lake, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing by the shore. For nature lovers and adventure seekers, there are countless opportunities for hiking, cycling, canyoning, and exploring the nearby Vintgar Gorge and Triglav National Park.
  
  Living and working in Bled means being surrounded by natural beauty and having the chance to enjoy outdoor activities in your free time — it’s a truly inspiring place to be!

  Payment is made weekly, and the exact wage will be discussed based on experience and availability. We value fair compensation and a respectful working relationship.

  Accommodation

  We offer a simple and modest attic accommodation, ideal for the easy-going person who doesn’t have high demands.
  The space includes a bedroom, bathroom, and a small living area. In summer it can get quite warm in the summer, but we have air conditioning to keep it comfortable.
  It’s not luxurious, but it’s clean, cozy, and perfect for travelers who appreciate a quiet and authentic place to rest while exploring beautiful Bled.
  Due to the busy nature of our work, we can't take on daily cooking or meal preparation. However, the workawayer will have a hearty breakfast provided every morning, along with a weekly wage.

  What else ...

  During their time off, there are plenty of things to enjoy in the local area! Bled is famous for its beautiful lake, where you can swim, rent a boat, or simply enjoy the view. There are also great hiking trails nearby, Pokljuka plateau, Karawanke, Julian Alps... For those looking for a bit of adventure, you can try paddleboarding, cycling, or even canyoning. Bled is well-connected by public transport, and we’re happy to provide information on buses and taxis to nearby towns like Bohinj or Ljubljana.
  
  As for how we live, we value a peaceful and respectful atmosphere. We treat everyone as part of our small family, and in return, we ask for honesty, kindness, and a strong work ethic. There are a few house rules, such as respecting quiet hours in the evening and keeping shared spaces tidy. We also ask that workawayers take care of their personal belongings and help maintain the shared spaces in a clean and orderly manner.

However, we ask that you remain focused and present during your working hours to ensure the quality of service for our guests.
