Description
It is a project that has been in the works since 2021, aiming to be a sanctuary within the jungle where one can truly connect with nature and oneself. Located just 15 minutes from IZAMAL, one of the most famous magical towns with one of the largest convents in the world, you can also find cenotes 20 minutes away and the beautiful Telchac beach 50 minutes away.
The project began during the pandemic with the need to be in open spaces, concerned about the well-being of our physical and emotional health. This led us to prioritize certain aspects such as nutrition, sustainability, relaxation, and meditation.
We have been working for four years on the construction of our areas and our values, where we believe in teamwork and seek change toward sustainability with honesty and respect.
Taking the Yucatecan Mesoamerican culture as a foundation, along with our values and priorities, we developed the different amenities to offer multiple experiences within the project, ranging from:
Gastronomic experiences
Cultural tours
Pre-Hispanic rituals and meditation experiences
MTB bike tours
Cultivation workshops, local plants, and their uses.
So if you enjoy nature, animals, working in a community, and the tranquility of a starry sky away from the city, you've come to the right place.

Es un proyecto que lleva trabajando desde el año 2021, con el objetivo de ser un santuario dentro de la selva donde se logre un contacto real con la naturaleza y uno mismo. Ubicado solo a 15 min de IZAMAL, uno de los pueblos mágicos más famosos con uno de los conventos más grandes del mundo, también cerca del lugar podrás encontrar cenotes a 20 minutos y la bonita playa de telchac que está a 50 minutos.
El proyecto inició en época pandémica con la necesidad de estar en espacios libres y abiertos, preocupados por el bienestar de nuestra salud física y emocional; nos llevo a priorizar ciertos aspectos como la alimentación, sostenibilidad, relajación y meditación.
Llevamos 4 años trabajando en la construcción de nuestras áreas y nuestros valores; donde creemos en el trabajo en equipo y buscamos el cambio hacia la sostenibilidad con honestidad y respeto.
Tomando la cultura mesoamericana yucateca como base, junto con nuestros valores y prioridades, trabajamos en las diferentes amenidades para ofrecer multiples experiencias dentro del proyecto que van desde;

You don't need to be an expert in anything specific; you just need to be motivated to learn new things and teach something that can contribute to the community's improvement.
We are looking for volunteers with heart and curiosity. Are you up for it?
Creating experiences: Support cultural, culinary, or wellness workshops.
Hands-on with the land: Participate in organic bed cultivation, a microorganism irrigation system, and ecological care.
Conscious construction: Collaborate in the maintenance of the temazcal, palapa, and Mayan oven.
Adventure in action: Lead interpretive walks, outdoor activities, and dynamics to awaken a connection with the environment.
Hospitality with heart: Welcome and accompany other guests, share stories, and build community.
A team mentality is essential, as is creativity.
Being a nature lover is essential; being willing to learn about and respect different cultures is indispensable.
We work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week; rest days may vary.

Accommodation
You'll stay in spaces designed to reconnect with yourself and nature:
Large main palapa: a common area for resting, sharing, and connecting.
Relaxation areas integrated into the surroundings: hammocks, planting beds, and nooks in direct contact with the natural environment.
Kitchen: a semi-open space where you can cook with either gas or firewood.
Pool: ideal for relaxing after a day of work.
Simple and clean accommodations: respectful of the environment, ideal for living your daily life in harmony.
Eco-friendly dry toilets: a lesson in respect and responsibility for the earth!
Temazcal (occasional): to release tension, relax, and reconnect with yourself.
Camping area: We have an exclusive camping area for our volunteers where they can live as a community. They are provided with a tent with a mattress, sheets, and pillow.
Every night here is an invitation to calm, reflect, and be inspired under the starry sky and the sounds of the jungle.
Te alojarás en espacios diseñados para reconectar contigo mismo y con la naturaleza:
Palapa principal amplia: área común para descansar, compartir y conectar.
Zonas de descanso integradas al entorno: hamacas, camas de cultivo y rincones en contacto directo con el entorno natural.
Cocina: un espacio semi abierto donde podrás cocinar tanto con gas como con leña.
Piscina: ideal para relajarse después de un día de trabajo
Alojamiento sencillo y limpio: respetuoso con el entorno, ideal para vivir el día a día en armonía.
Baños secos ecoamigables: ¡una lección de respeto y responsabilidad con la tierra!
Temazcal (ocasionalmente): para liberar tensiones, relajarte y reconectar contigo.
Area de camping: tenemos una zona exclusiva de camping para nuestros voluntarios donde podrán convivir en comunidad. Se les proporciona una casa de campaña con colchón, sábanas y almohada.
Cada noche aquí es una invitación a la calma, a reflexionar y a inspirarte bajo el cielo estrellado y los sonidos de la selva.

We have two bicycles that can be used to get around nearby areas or places you'd like to explore.
Buses frequently depart for Mérida, which is an option if you'd like to explore the capital. Otherwise, there are also volunteers who organize group trips to the beach or a cenote. We've been working in the tourism sector for years, so if you decide to go solo, we can give you some recommendations.
Tenemos 2 bicicletas que pueden ser usadas para transportarse a zonas cercanas o lugares que desees explorar.
Hay camiones que frecuentemente salen a la ciudad de Mérida, los cuales es una opción por si deseas conocer la capital. Pero sino también hay voluntarios que se organizan para ir a la playa en grupo o a algún cenote. Llevamos años dedicándonos al sector turismo, por si también decides ir solo te podemos dar alguna recomendación.
