Description
I am living in a beautiful place near Tarija, Bolivia, with plenty of space including even a lake. The place is very well tended and clean. I was a professional horse rider with many international awards. More important, I am Natural Horsemanship Trainer which implies a great love for animals, especially horses. Currently there are 8 horses, some chicken and nine dogs at my estate. Before the pandemic we were working a lot with my horses with handicapped and autistic children which were making excellent improvements. Unfortunately the restrictions of the pandemic put a halt on this and government funding was stopped. Nevertheless some of the kids still continue to come. There is only one local who is helping me with the work.

I am German and have been living in Bolivia for many decades. Tarija is a very lovely place with a very nice climate and nice people. It is easy to connect to the local people if you are without prejudices and accept the obvious differences to European or North American culture. If you do not know Spanish yet, I encourage to you learn it during your stay. This will also help you to come in contact with the locals and their culture. At my place you will surely learn very much about natural horsemanship.
Help
It would be great if you could support me with the care for the horses and all the typical work on a farm and in a household. This also includes horse riding if you are willing and have the necessary skills. My horses are extremely well trained, therefore very sensitive and thus they need equally sensitive riders. Of course I will work with you in the beginning so that you understand the horses. You will definitely improve your horse riding during stay!

You will have your own little house which includes your own bedroom with walking closet, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Generally speaking the estate is a very safe place in a quiet neighborhood. Additionally there are nine dogs guarding our estate... Do not worry about the dogs, they are all very nice.
Regarding meals: Our guests will have their own house with a fully equipped kitchen. Food will be provided and we will have of course many meals together. Cooking will also be part of the job, but as with the other tasks we will of course share the work. Work will not exceed 25 hours a week. What else ...
Taxis, trufis (shared taxis) and microbuses are very cheap in Tarija and pass by our estate. There are no special house rules, if you are educated, there will be no problems. It is obvious that smoking on a farm in dry climate is not allowed. Pairs are welcome. Unfortunately I cannot accept kids due to the animals at my place.
