    Description

Hello! I’m someone who has spent a long time traveling and living in intentional communities, which has deeply shaped my values and outlook on life. Recently, I moved to Copenhagen and have started working, but I find myself missing the spirit of community living.

I’m passionate about building and learning how to create intentional communities and am eager to connect with like-minded individuals who share this vision. If you have experience in this area or are interested in collaborating on projects that align with our values, I would love to hear from you!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

At my home in Copenhagen, there are many opportunities for cultural exchange! The city is vibrant and full of cultural offerings, from art galleries and music festivals to local markets and community events. While I don’t currently host gatherings, I’d love to organize some social activities where Workawayers can connect with each other and the local community.

I’m excited to share the knowledge I’ve gained from my travels and experiences living in intentional communities. I can offer insights into cooperative living, sustainable practices, and communal decision-making, which I hope will inspire meaningful discussions and collaborations.

By hosting people from different cultures, I aim to broaden my understanding of various community dynamics and approaches to living intentionally. This exchange can lead to fresh ideas and projects that reflect our diverse experiences. If you’re interested in organizing activities and exploring Copenhagen together while sharing your own cultural insights, I’d love to connect!

    Help

I’m passionate about building and learning how to create intentional communities, and I’m looking for someone who shares this vision. My goal is to explore the principles of community living and start putting them into practice. If you have experience in this area or are eager to collaborate on building a supportive and sustainable community, I’d love to connect!

I am very open to different type of help/collaboration, it doesn't have to be about caring about my space at all. I am more focused on starting some community projects or collaborating on something together. So if you have a project running or you would like to work on your own project connected to community values, this can also count as a volunteering work. I am mostly looking for a project/learning/brainstorming partners and also people I can share my community knowledge with.

In addition to community work, I may need a friendly and reliable person to help with some tasks around my flat. Responsibilities include regular cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom, as well as occasional assistance with bringing furniture from the city (about once every two weeks, as I’ve just moved in). But I am completely ok with it being normal flatmate cleaning duties (I don't need you to clean windows etc.)

These tasks won’t take too much time, leaving us plenty of opportunities to brainstorm and develop ideas for our community project. If you’re enthusiastic about intentional living and looking for a welcoming space to grow together, I can’t wait to hear from you!

I’m also interested in dumpster diving, so if you have experience or want to learn, that would be great!
At the moment I am looking for somebody experoenced woth dumps diving to do it often and need no guidane.

I am at times quite busy so I need somebody who will be proactive and independent.

I provide a comfortable and clean separate room with a bed in my spacious flat, which is equipped with all the essentials, including a bathroom, an equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.

The temperature in the flat is ~20°C.

For food, I’m interested in incorporating dumpster diving into our routine as part of the volunteering experience. It’s a great way to source plenty of food, and I believe we can find a lot of good options here.

Additionally, I often bring home ready-to-eat vegetarian or vegan meals from work, so there will be plenty of delicious food available. Any groceries I purchase will also be strictly vegan.

    What else ...

There’s so much to check out in Copenhagen! Nørrebro is a must—super vibrant with cool cafés, street art, and a really diverse vibe. Tivoli Gardens is great for a fun evening, especially when the lights come on and everything feels magical.

You’ve also got to visit Christiania! It’s this awesome freetown with a unique atmosphere where you can really soak in the local culture. Plus, there are tons of local groups and workshops on everything from sustainability to art, so you can dive into whatever sparks your interest.

Getting around is easy here. You can bike just about anywhere, and the public transport is solid too.

As for house rules, I’m all about keeping it chill and respectful. Just help keep the common areas tidy, and let’s enjoy some peaceful evenings. If you have any specific interests or projects you want to explore, let me know! I’m excited to see what we can create together!
