Description
Situated in the heart of Australia’s world famous Daintree Cape Tribulation rainforest, our family own a world heritage rainforest reserve. Neighbouring Cape Tribulation, it is great for graded walking and hiking trails through the Valley, along with overnight hut and lodge accommodation.
Surrounded by national park, this is the largest private world heritage rainforest reserve in the area and contains both coastal lowlands and mountainous rainforest. We offer its guests exclusive, private access deep into the rainforest. The reserve also has a number of rainforest venues, used for catered lunches.
Visitor numbers and access is limited to ensure minimal impact to this precious environment and to maintain a private, exclusive experience to all its guests.
This tranquility, together with the area’s amazing qualities, makes this the perfect place to give the opportunity to focus on appreciating this remarkable rainforest ecosystem without distraction, as well as enhancing the feeling of having enjoyed a true ‘wilderness experience’.
We have had many volunteers in the past who had loved being immersed in nature and the beauty our reserve has to offer.
You will be living and working with our family, myself Andy, my wife Lynette and our two boys Oliver (16) and Hugo (14). We are very easy going and make you feel very welcome.Types of help and learning opportunities

What else ...
Cape Tribulation/Daintree Rainforest is 2hours north of the major city Cairns. It has a number of attractions in the area the greatest advantage is that's its only 20min to the Great Barrier Reef. However most of our volunteers just love our place so much they hardly leave.
