Description
We are a community project. We live here together with eight grown ups and four children, cats, chicken, horses and cows. We are divers, queer, notqueer, old, young and different from each other in many ways. In daily life there are many moments where we do things together like our daily dinner, working in the garden or in summertime staying at the beach at the river near the farm or at camp fire in the evenings. On the other hand we all have our own projects and jobs so sometimes it can be very quiete at the farm. We have two old farmhouses, a wagon and a yurt and is placed at the end of a small village next to the river Sieg. The next trainstation is not far and from there it is easy to get to Cologne or Bonn (40 - 50 min. ride). As a group we try to treat each other and everything that surrounds us regardful and with love and respect. We eat mainly vegan and vegetarian and for us a friendly and open interaction with each other is important. As a group we are aiming at being non-dogmatic and trying to support each other in growing personally and becoming more and more our real self - as different as we and our needs are. Our volunteers are always a great enrichment. We have learned a lot from each other, enjoyed the exchange very much and sometimes long lasting friendships developed.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The people living here have varied interests and knowledges and skills. There is a lot to discover, and we are eager to learn from our guests! There are many ways to live in community, and we can show you one of them.
Help
Our idea is that visitors help 4 - 5 h per day and that they benefit from what they learn at our place. We need help looking on repairing stables, constructing with wood, painting, looking after our cows and horses, repairing fences, rebuilding our shed and doing gardening. We like to find out your special skills and preferences and to look after possibilities where to make them as useful as possible around our project. We are looking for people who appreciate exchange of ideas, who are able to work responsible on their own and who like to work with their hands.

We directly felt home and got along very well with all the people on the farm. There were very different tasks waiting for us (inside, outside, creative, physical (but no too exhausting), with and without animals, ...) and we often had the possibility to choose… read more
