Come stay with our family of 3 in the beautiful blaeberry valley outside of Golden, BC. Help us with building projects, forestry work and general help around the house and enjoy endless outdoor opportunities in your free time.

You can learn what life on an acreage in the forest looks like and how to transform a raw piece of land into a homestead. We could happily teach you how to build and how to use different tools as well as teach you what we know about our natural environment and share some outdoor adventures with you.

Help
Come stay with us in the beautiful Blaeberry area, just outside Golden, BC and help us with childcare, building projects, forestry work and general help around the house and property. We are a family of 3 (Anna, Caspar and 6 year old Felix), living on a forested little acreage where we recently built a small house. We have many projects that we need to get done, while also trying to enjoy time in our amazing mountains.
Our main building project for fall 2025 is to build a sauna on our property as well as fire-smarting and forestry work. We are also looking for help with childcare, gardening and general help around the house. This could be a great option for a couple or two friends or an individual who is keen to help with any of the projects mentioned above. Ideally we are looking for people who want to stay for at least two weeks or longer.
We would love to host people who are enthusiastic and have a passion for the outdoors. In our free time we love to rock-climb, mountain bike, hike, fish, camp, canoe etc. and would happily show you around our amazing backyard! We would love to welcome you here and share this wonderful place with you.

Accommodation
We have a full sized school bus that we transformed into a house on wheels.
The bus is fully equipped with a queen sized bed, a full kitchen, table and couch, It has running water, electricity, a wood stove, electric heat and great wifi. A few steps away from the bus is our washhouse with a shower, sink, toilet and laundry facility.
What else ...
Golden, BC is beautifully located just outside the Rocky Mountain National Parks and offers a ton of outdoor adventures like hiking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, camping etc. The town itself has everything you need and is home to a great community of people. Golden has several cute cafes, great restaurants, a farmers market, an awesome bouldering gym and much more!
We would love to show you around our beautiful mountain backyard or give you ideas of what to do in your free time.
Since our property is 12km outside of Golden (ca 15min drive) and there is no public transport available, having your own vehicle is highly recommended.
