Description
We have been developing into an oasis for people, animals and nature for several years. This place offers visitors and nature a habitat that is unique. The focus is not on the yield or the profit, but on the experience, the diversity and the recreational value. Areas that are left to natural succession develop ecologically undisturbed and valuable biotopes that are rarely found here. By planting many different fruit trees and wild shrubs, an edible forest garden is created in which, among other things, forgotten varieties that are important for the future are once again recognized and used. With events and activities in the form of courses, animal encounters and overnight accommodation, the farm enables a close-up experience of this diversity and the rather unusual but inviting landscape; not cleared, not trimmed, but wild, lively and rich in species.
For the region, the project offers an exciting contrast to the traditional, culturally and historically grown landscape. With new ideas and methods, the manager takes responsibility and steers the use of the landscape in a sustainable direction. Challenges such as climate change, waste of resources, nutrient cycles etc. are actively implemented in sustainable concepts.Types of help and learning opportunities
