  Hello! I'm Exequiel, 36 years old, and I live in the heart of Chilean Patagonia, in the beautiful city of Coyhaique, Aysén Region. A lover of nature, the simple life, and the fresh air of the south, I found here a lifestyle in harmony with the environment, far from noise and close to the essentials. I'm a nurse by profession, and I'm deeply passionate about what I do. I work in the healthcare field, but I also value human exchange, good conversations, and the opportunity to learn from each other. You will learn about local customs, the typical cuisine of southern Chile, stories of settlers, peasant roots, and the identity of those who grew up in these isolated yet vibrant territories. Additionally, we will be able to exchange ideas and experiences on topics such as rural health, the Chilean healthcare system, education in extreme areas, and the social and cultural challenges of living in one of the most remote regions in the country. If you are interested in discovering the true Patagonia, not only as a tourist but as a part of it, this space will allow you to connect from the heart with its landscapes and its people.
  
  Vivir y compartir en la Región de Aysén es sumergirse en la Patagonia profunda, donde la naturaleza dicta el ritmo y las personas conservan una calidez única. Este rincón del mundo es mucho más que montañas y ríos: es también tradición, resiliencia y comunidad.
  
  Aquí tendrás la oportunidad de conocer el estilo de vida patagón, caracterizado por su conexión con la tierra, la autosuficiencia, el respeto por los ciclos naturales y el sentido de colaboración entre vecinos. Podrás aprender sobre las costumbres locales, la gastronomía típica del sur chileno, historias de colonos, el arraigo campesino y la identidad de quienes han crecido en estos territorios aislados pero llenos de vida.
  
  Además, podremos intercambiar ideas y experiencias sobre temas como salud rural, el sistema de salud chileno, la educación en zonas extremas, y los desafíos sociales y culturales de vivir en una de las regiones más remotas del país.

  The experience I offer is flexible, collaborative, and enriching for both parties. I am open to sharing tasks and projects in which you can contribute based on your own interests or skills. Some of the areas in which you can collaborate include: Support for research in public health or mental health, whether collecting information, assisting with translations, or systematizing data. Photography and audiovisual content: if you have skills in this area, you could help capture the beauty of the environment or create content to share the spirit of Patagonia. Nature activities, such as hiking, exploring local trails, or even small flora and fauna recordings. Writing projects, documentation, or digital support, if you are interested in creative or academic work. I am also open to sharing daily household tasks, cooking, maintaining common spaces, or simply enjoying a good conversation over a cup of coffee while gazing at the mountains. The idea is for us to collaborate together, sharing knowledge, ideas, and experiences in an environment of respect, relaxation, and mutual learning. This place is not just for "working," but also for living and connecting with nature and humanity. Whether you're curious, passionate about the outdoors, socially sensitive, or simply eager to share, we're sure to find a meaningful way to collaborate!

  Estoy abierto a compartir tareas y proyectos en los que puedas aportar desde tus propios intereses o habilidades. Algunas de las áreas en las que puedes colaborar incluyen:
  
  Apoyo en investigaciones en salud pública o salud mental, ya sea recopilando información, ayudando en traducciones o en la sistematización de datos.
  Fotografía y contenido audiovisual, si tienes habilidades en esta área, podrías ayudar a registrar la belleza del entorno o crear contenido para compartir el espíritu de la Patagonia.
  Actividades en la naturaleza, como caminatas, exploración de rutas locales o incluso pequeños registros de flora y fauna.
  Proyectos de escritura, documentación o apoyo digital, si te interesa el trabajo creativo o académico.
  También estoy abierto a compartir tareas cotidianas del hogar, cocinar, mantener espacios comunes o simplemente disfrutar de una buena charla junto a una taza de café mirando las montañas.
  La idea es que colaboremos juntos, compartiendo conocimientos, ideas y experiencias, en un ambiente de respeto, relajo y aprendizaje mutuo.

  Accommodation

  The Workawayer accommodation is a one-room cabin equipped with all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. It features a gas stove, heating, a bathroom with shower, a bed, a living and dining area, and a terrace ideal for enjoying the natural surroundings. Parking is also available. It is a cozy, quiet place in direct contact with Patagonian nature. It also offers a single room.
  Three meals a day are provided during the exchange. Whenever possible, we will share meals as part of the cultural exchange. In case we do not meet at the same time, ingredients will be provided for you to cook.
  Sitio paraEl alojamiento para los Workawayers es una cabaña de un ambiente equipada con todas las comodidades básicas para una estadía confortable. Cuenta con cocina a gas, calefacción, baño con ducha, cama, espacio de living y comedor, además de una terraza ideal para disfrutar del entorno natural. También dispone de estacionamiento. Es un lugar acogedor, tranquilo y en contacto directo con la naturaleza patagónica. acampar , también 1 habitación simple .
  Durante el intercambio se ofrecen tres comidas al día. Siempre que sea posible, compartiremos las comidas como parte del intercambio cultural. En caso de que no coincidamos en horarios, se proporcionarán ingredientes para que puedan cocinar.
