Hello,
My name is Alix, and I come from the south-west of France.
After several years working in the restaurant business, I decided to make my dream come true and take the time to travel.
My passions focus on art and manual work in general, I love creating and making, and I'm interested in everything!
I used to paint few years ago and Sofia's energy made me draw again, so I'm now travelling with my pastels ☺️
In my opinion, it's the people we meet that make the experience of traveling special. I travel alone but I have never felt lonely.
And in the end, I remember the landscapes but it's the people that make me want to come back!
I don't have a return date to France planned, my aim is to discover as many things as possible and I'm really excited to be able to take the time to do that!

I love communicating and exchanging, so learning the language of the country I'm visiting is part of the trip! The Bulgarian language is a real challenge, as it comes with an alphabet that's new to me, but I rise to any challenge! I can of course help with learning French, which is my native language.

My main skill is being able to learn anything! For example, I learnt baking on my own thanks to online courses, and got my diploma.
And I've been learning Bulgarian ever since I arrived in the capital!
Having worked in all areas of the restaurant trade for 16 years, I have the necessary skills for cooking, service, reception, management...
I'm also particularly sensitive to the animal cause, and although I don't yet have any real skills in this area, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a dog shelter in Bansko. I stayed there for a month and a half, which enabled me to understand the scope of this type of mission, and gave me the desire to discover this country.
