Hi!

My name is Bardia, 33 years old traveler and photographer. In September, I started my first long trip in South America and Central America and then I will go Asia!

I am kind of new to Workaway, although I have done some volunteering work before but not through this website. I am here to meet locals, other travelers, finding volunteering positions, and travel buddies! I speak English, Spanish, Italian, and French.

Through volunteering, I would like to gain a deeper understanding of the places I visit and gain more skills as I travel. Also, it helps me making local and international friends. My last volunteering work was in a rescue center in Ecuador which I really enjoyed. I am interested in positions related to tourism, animals, teaching, and indigenous communities.

Mi nombre es Bardia, tengo 33 años y soy fotógrafo. Empecé mi viaje en septiembre de 2024 por Sudamérica y Centroamérica y luego voy a Asia!

Estoy aquí para conocer gente local, otros viajeros, encontrar puestos de voluntariado y compañeros de viaje. Hablo inglés, español, italiano y francés.

A través del voluntariado, me gustaría obtener una comprensión más profunda de los lugares que visito y adquirir más habilidades a medida que viajo. Además, me ayuda a hacer amigos locales e internacionales. Mi último trabajo de voluntariado fue en un centro de rescate en Ecuador y me gustó mucho. Me interesan puestos relacionados con turismo, animales, docencia y comunidades indígenas.

For hostels and tourism industry:

I have been working in tourism industry as tour leader for a while and I have been travelling a lot in the last few years. Moreover, I am a photographer and I can help you with that as well.

For schools:

I have been teaching various courses in the last couple of years from languages to mathematics and physics in different grades.

For animal centers:

Beside my deep interest in animals, I have the experience of working in a rescue center in Amazon where I learned various things about taking care of animals.

For indigenous communities:

Native and indigenous communities are one of my main interests when traveling to a new place. I had a chance to spend time with various indigenous communities from whom I've learned a lot.

He trabajado en la industria del turismo como guía turístico durante un tiempo y he viajado mucho en los últimos años. Además, soy fotógrafo y también puedo ayudar con eso.

Para escuelas:

He estado enseñando varios cursos en los últimos años, desde idiomas hasta matemáticas y física en diferentes grados.

Para centros de animales:

Además de mi profundo interés por los animales, tengo la experiencia de trabajar en un centro de rescate en la Amazonía, donde aprendí varias cosas sobre el cuidado de los animales.

Para comunidades indígenas:

Las comunidades nativas e indígenas son uno de mis principales intereses cuando viajo a un lugar nuevo. Tuve la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con varias comunidades indígenas de las que aprendí mucho.
