Description
Hello!
I’m Caro, a 33-year-old from Germany, excited to bring my skills, energy, and enthusiasm to the Workaway community.
I have solid experience in farm work, having spent several months on farms in Australia and Switzerland, where I worked with sheep, built fences, drove tractors, and tackled a variety of repair and construction tasks.
Additionally, I have experience with huskies, having worked at a husky lodge and participated in mushing, which strengthened my bond with animals and the great outdoors. I initially worked as an event manager, and while I also have a background in fine dining as a waitress, I’ve found that my heart really lies with animals, so I’ve decided to focus my time on working with them.
I thrive on challenges and the satisfaction that comes from physical tasks and animal care. I’m easygoing, independent, and a strong team player. My background in horseback vaulting since I was 10 years old, along with basic horse riding, enables me to connect with animals on a deeper level, and I’m always eager to learn more.
Beyond farm work, I adapt easily to new environments and enjoy being part of a team, but I’m just as comfortable working on my own. I respect shared living spaces, like to contribute to daily routines, and enjoy connecting with different people.
More than anything, I’m excited about new experiences, meeting inspiring individuals, and taking on meaningful work. If you’re looking for someone motivated, hardworking, and happy to help wherever needed, I’d love to hear from you!Interests
