Hi you all, my name is David.
I am 20 years old and from Nuremberg in Germany. My greatest interests are nature, politics and history, so I started my way to becoming an English/ history teacher.

People tell me I am a very funny person, but also empathetic and trustworthy. I certainly like to make new experiences, but usually it's not easy for me ;)
I'm very adaptive and open minded. Not really spontaneous...

Last year I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with two different families in British Columbia, it was my first trip all by myself and the best time of my life. I gained experience in planting trees, clearing the earth from huge stones, installing an irrigation system, feeding Bison from the back of a truck, collecting firewood and building planter boxes.

I'd love to be a part of someone's project and spend some good time together!

I have gained experience from 4 different internships, I have worked at an old-peoples'-home, an elementary school, an university-museum and at a natural-architecture-company. One of my strengths is working together with people (of any age), as I am very open and interested in other people. I think of becoming a teacher some day.
I haven't got much experience with strenous physical work, but I have already worked on some projects, for example buildung a wall made out of wood, or a toolbox, most of that together with my uncle. I spend a lot of time taking care of plants (I have about 30 of those at my home) and doing work in the garden, as this is my main task-area at home.
My English skills are very good and I speak a little bit of Italian, German is my mother tongue. I'd like to learn "American studies" at university later this year. I have already participated in two exchange programs, with Italy and with Wales. I also have visited Ireland, Cornwall and London, each for several weeks, so I have already spent time in English-speaking countries.
I am hard working and it is my dream to work abroad, something that has to do with nature. So I should always have a lot of fun and motivation for this kind of work!
