Description

Hi guys,
I am from the UK and I would like to broaden my horizons. Although I have been lucky enough to experience different parts of the world including; Cyprus, Belgium, Germany and Holland. I am now at that point where I want to branch out further. This is my first time looking at Workaway which I believe will allow me the chance to immerse myself in different cultures and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. I also want to be able to help others and hopefully learn more about their lives and interests, gaining meaningful experiences and building lasting friendships which come from sharing and learning with others.
I have worked as a sound engineer, Chef and Dog trainer, Nursery Practitioner among other things and I have previously volunteered at animal shelters.

I love music, whether that's drumming, rapping, or music producing and I ride my motorbike everywhere.
I am passionate about gaining new skills, whether it's helping out with a project, or contributing to a community. What makes me happy is knowing that my efforts are making a difference, no matter how small.

My experience spans various roles, from working as a Dog Specialist at the Waltham Pet Science Institute, where I trained and cared for dogs, to a Nursery Practitioner providing nurturing care and safeguarding for young children. My work in youth services and wrap-around care has equipped me with strong coaching, mentoring, and conflict management skills, while my voluntary work at an animal rescue centre satisfies my commitment to animal welfare. My background also includes experience as a Chef. I enjoy build rapport with diverse groups, understanding their needs and backgrounds. I have various qualifications and hold a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music and Music Technology, alongside several professional certifications in safeguarding, food hygiene, first aid, and fire safety. I also hold an up to date Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate.
