We are currently in Vietnam but will be travelling to Sydney the 1st of December and are planning to explore the Blue Mountains to do some climbing and to have our 1st experience with workaway!

Hi, we’re Marie & Duy!
We’re an adventurous couple from Belgium, both 29 years old, with a deep love for the outdoors and everything nature has to offer. Whether it’s climbing, slacklining/highlining, hiking, or just enjoying nature, we feel most at home in the wild. We also enjoy spending time with animals, taking care of them, and ensuring they're happy and well-loved. We are eager to learn, grow, and are not afraid of getting our hands a little dirty!
We’ve already traveled a lot across Europe and Asia, learning about different cultures, cuisines, and different landscapes. When wandering around Duy is always looking for new flavours and
cooking techniques which he can implement in his dishes while Marie is out exploring the different insects and plants that inhabit the environment.
Curious, passionate, and always looking ahead to our next big adventure, we’d love to connect with like-minded people who share our love for nature, travel, and great food.

As we are both 29 years old and traveled a lot, we already have some work experience and are highly adaptable to new environments. We are not afraid to work hard and make our hands dirty!
Marie’s skills:
- Worked 4,5 years as a lab technician in medical genetics. Before I started working I did two internships abroad, one in Portugal and one in Vietnam. I am used to operate in a team and I am trained to work in an organised and precise manner.
- I am very passionate about plants and insects, as both my parents were foresters I have a keen interest in nature. I love working in the garden improving its biodiversity and beauty.
- Growing up with horses, cats, dogs and chickens I knows how to care for them and I'm comfortable working with animals of all kinds.
- As a student I also worked hospitality as a waitress and as a hostess on events.
Duy’s skills:
-I have a degree in industrial product design and did my internship in the Philippines. My studies helped me to have a creative mindset which makes me skilled at developing practical solutions.
- I was a self-employed subcontractor for 4 years, I worked in eventing, construction, and gardening. During this time I also acquired my truck drivers license. I am highly adaptable, a quick learner and not afraid of physical work.
- I was a teacher for 2 years in a school for newcomers and refugees. I was also a scout leader in the scout movements. This makes me someone who is good with kids and knows how to work with them.
- Worked in hospitality in between jobs, both in the kitchen and as a waiter.
