Hello, my name is Erick and I am 27 year-old Colombian currently finishing my bachelor's in veterinary medicine. since I have a memory I loved travelling and learning about cultures different from my own. I enjoy immersing myself in different lives to experience more during my time on earth. I traveled around South America for six months, which made me realize that one of my biggest dreams is to travel the world and learn more about different cultures.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve always loved being outdoors and staying active, especially when I can combine the two. I’m passionate about climbing, swimming in natural bodies of water, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking—you name it. I mention this because these are some of my favorite activities, but I’m also deeply curious by nature. I love discovering how natural processes work and understanding animal behavior, which is why I’m studying veterinary medicine in my home country. Beyond that, I really enjoy meaningful conversations, learning about different cultures, reading books and stories, exploring music, and doing creative projects like painting or clay molding. I also find a lot of fulfillment in helping others and feeling like I’m making a difference. That’s why I was a Red Cross volunteer in Colombia for over five years, supporting people in various situations.

As an active person, I’ve learned a lot of skills throughout my life. I studied videography and photography for three years, and I volunteered with the Colombian Red Cross for over five years, an experience that taught me about first aid, recreational activities, and emotional support. I used to play several instruments, with guitar, drums, and harp being the most notable ones. I can pretty much fix an entire bicycle, and I know a bit about gardening and planting. As a creative person, I enjoy cooking, painting, clay modeling, and other artistic activities. Veterinary medicine has become one of the most important aspects of my life, and it’s the activity that has taken up most of my time in recent years. I can teach you about animal care, diseases, and related activities. I also have knowledge of mountain sports, outdoor activities, and general sports. I'm good at mathematics and biological sciences. I love languages and would love to learn more, but currently, I’m a good-intermediate speaker of Portuguese, English, and Spanish. One thing I can proudly say is that I’m very good at solving problems with creative ideas
