Hola and hello,
My name is Franziska Koert, I am 24 years old and from Germany.
I am currently studying my masters in renewable energies. When I'm not studying, I'm always eager to explore the world, discover the most beautiful places, and meet the most interesting people.
I already did multiple long-term travels, with one of my favorite experiences being a 5 month trip to South America. But I also loved my Erasmus semester in San Sebastian, Spain, and my work-and-travel adventure in New Zealand.
During my time in Peru and Spain, I discovered a love for surfing and a passion for the Spanish language, both of which I plan to pursue further on my next journey. I will be heading to Spain for some weeks in the summer (September) and I am looking for a Workaway opportunity for about 2 weeks.
I am up for all types of adventures. I like to meet new people as well as exchanging ideas and perspectives and I hope to improve my knowledge about different cultures. While traveling, I enjoy having new challenges and experiences every day.
Hopefully, Workaway will help me to get to know a part of the country in a completely new way.Interests

More details about your skills
I gained different experiences through the last years.
I already worked in the restaurant business besides school and university which equipped me with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to taking on responsibilities within a team.
Additionally, I have given music lessons and tutored at my university, making me confident in teaching various topics and speaking in front of large groups.
Most of my other work experience and also different internships in my career have been focused on my studies in energy engineering, where I developed fundamental skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and analytical thinking.
I also have experience in farm work, which has given me the ability to handle physically demanding tasks efficiently.
Overall, my work experience is very diverse. I am eager to learn, responsible and look forward to always improve my skills. I am willing to try any type of work and get out of my comfort zone.
I am speaking german and english fluently and spanish and french at a good leve. I am always open to also teach others some words of my mother language.
I look forward to connecting with hosts who share my enthusiasm for cultural exchange and adventure!Age
