Hi, My name is Gaëtan, I am 22 years old and I live in the north of France. I am born in a family of farmers so I am used to manual and to work outside. At the moment I learn agriculture and agrifood in apprenticeship in an engineer school.
I have already done 2 experiences abroad : the first one in 2 differents organic farms in Canada ( woofing 2023 ), and a second experience for 4 weeks in an organic farm in Slovenia ( workaway 2024 ). I am planning to go to South America 2 month this summer to live an other great experience and to obtain my diploma. At first view I seem pretty shy but don't worry that soon goes away !
My interests are : houses renovation, running, travel, history.
My assets are my polyvalence, my self-sufficiency and my curiosity.
I have some skills in plumbery, electricity, agriculture ( seeding, plant growth, harvesting, cleaning,... ), masonry, tool maintenance ( chainsaw,..... )
And also I love animals !

I have many points of interests : farming, nature, sports, mechanical, chess and history.
I have practised for 7 years sailing on optimists, catamarans and sailboard ( I did a lot of competitions younger ! ), 4 years of moutain bike ( one competition ) and running. At the moment I am still practicing the mountain bike, I miss time for 2 others..
I work a lot with my hands for houses renovations, my garden and outsides chores. I know to work with my hands : in fields, making concrete, install a new floor, repair an electric network,...
I have experience of 2 years in tractors driving so I am used to drive large vehicles ( 40+ tons and 15+ meters ).

I'm always up to discover new things because I am very curious. Because of that I have knowledges and experiences in a lot of domains. I will also always be up for hiking, biking, swimming because I love to challenge me !
