Hi, I’m Iva. I'm 29, I work as an English teacher, translator and marketing specialist. I’m lucky enough to work remotely and be my own boss. I love travelling and I’m excited to combine that with my love for animals. I'm mostly looking for an opportunity to look after pets or houses. I have plenty of experience with looking after pets and I truly enjoy their company, whether it’s cuddly cats, playful dogs, or even more independent companions. I grew up in the countryside, so I know how to chop wood, make a fire or fix things around the house. When I’m not in front of my laptop, you’ll often find me in the mountains. I’m an avid skier and once the snow melts, I go biking. I simply love being outdoors. If your dog (or cat) is up for it, we can go for long walks or even runs! Another passion of mine is learning languages — I speak Czech and English fluently, have a decent knowledge of Russian , can hold a conversation in Spanish, and I’m slowly improving my German. I can provide references from people whose houses and pets I've sat before, I'm also active on TrustedHousesitters (I can send you my profile with reviews in case you're there). I regularly stay in someone's home and I always take good care of it. We can definitely have a video call to see if we are the right fit.

I’ve looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, and even chickens, both in my own family and for friends and colleagues. I’m comfortable caring for elderly pets, including giving medication when needed.
I can drive and have my own car. I'm ok with vans, can't drive anything bigger, though.
I’m tidy, practical, and respectful of your space. I grew up in the countryside, so I’m no stranger to work around the house. I work remotely and keep a stable routine, but I don't work 9–5, which means I’m present and available to care for your home and animals throughout the day.
The languages I speak: Czech, English, Russian, Spanish, a bit of German.
