I'm Janja, a well-travelled tourism worker from Slovenia and I'm a positive, organized, and active person, who grew up in the mountains and loves nature.
I've spent many years living abroad, working and volunteering, from Hong Kong to Mexico to Canada and across Europe. My last Workaway experience was in Sicily on a horse ranch, where I cleaned the stables and prepared the horses for lessons and tours around the Etna volcano.
I love spending time with internationals and learning new things. I am very enthusiastic when it comes to food and cooking, and I can't imagine my life without nature and animals. Lately, I have focused my attention to natural ingredients and foraging edible wild plants, which I use for cooking, beauty and home remedies.
My interests are also art, music, reading, writing and exploring the history and the culture of the places I visit.Languages
