Description
Hi! We are Jordan and Siobhán, an Irish couple currently travelling Australia. We are both 26 and are looking to find a Workaway that lets us experience real Australian life, away from the city.
About us:
Jordan - I was a sports journalist back home so I have a massive love for all things sports and could talk about it all day. I also grew up playing Gaelic football (Ireland’s national sport) and would be happy to show you how to play! I come from a farming and construction family so working with animals, machinery, tools, and DIY jobs are all things I'm well used to and good at.
I would describe myself as a very outgoing person, I love meeting new people and will chat to anyone. I have a very strong work ethic from growing up on a farm and I love getting a job done. I am adventurous and love trying new things.
Siobhán – I come from a large family, being the youngest of 10 siblings was a lot of fun growing up. A challenge I have set myself is finding an experience that I will be the first in my family to do. I love children and I have eleven nieces and nephews so looking after children is my second nature. I also grew up with animals; we had dogs, cats, chickens and even some roosters. My sister now has two horses which I ride occasionally so I have some knowledge of horse handling but I would be very eager to learn more as I really enjoyed it at home. I have tons of hospitality experience so all things housekeeping, meal prepping I would be good at.
I love yoga, nature walks, reading and baking. I am very motivated and have a positive outlook. I am very excited to try a workaway experience and make some memories.

Jordan - Can drive a tractor and other machinery. I have worked in construction for years so proficient in use of tools (power/non). Lots of DIY experience. Background in farming so experienced in cattle rearing and field maintenance.
Siobhan -Experienced in childcare, household tasks and maintenance. I have experience in looking after different types of animals. I am very organised and clean.
