Hi! Welcome to my profile! I’m Josefina Goto, a 37-year-old Chilean-Japanese dentist, adventurer, and community leader with a passion for meaningful connections and new experiences. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, learning Japanese, and excited to bring fresh energy to each place I go in Australia.
Currently, I work at an international study agency, where my role allows me to guide and motivate others on how to study around the world. I’ve been in this position for three years, and it’s not only helped me fund my own studies but also fuels my enthusiasm to support others in achieving their educational dreams. My background combines strong skills in management, community support, and a natural ability to inspire and connect with people. I love helping others find paths to new opportunities, and I bring creativity, innovation, and dedication to each task I take on.
With roots in both the Japanese and Latin cultures, I have the best of both worlds: the responsibility, discipline, and dedication from my Japanese heritage and the vibrant energy, joy, and warmth of my Latin side. I’m deeply engaged with the Japanese society in Chile, where I hold an administrative role, organizing events and developing projects that unite and support the Japanese-Chilean community.
Throughout my journey, I’ve worn many hats—from dentist and administrator to traveler and volunteer. My background spans sales, administration, education, and community service, all of which have built my adaptability, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills. I’m also certified in first aid, a confident driver, and always ready to lend a hand wherever needed.
I’ve been actively involved in social projects, such as "Un Techo Para Chile," where I joined other volunteers to build homes for those in need. I’ve also taught English to children, visited with older adults, and participated in “Proyecta,” a program where we helped clean and rebuild a park for a small town with limited recreational spaces for kids. I believe that every small effort counts, and I love seeing the positive impact community work can have.
In my personal life, I love board games, especially card games and chess, and I find joy in sharing these moments with others. I’m passionate about sports—snowboarding is a favorite—and I’m always up for an outdoor adventure, whether it’s hiking, swimming, or just enjoying nature. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, creating crafts, and exploring new activities that help me learn and grow. Also, I love pets, so I would love to take care of them!
Now, I’m thrilled to begin a new chapter in Australia, eager to build friendships, share stories, and make a positive impact wherever I go. Thank you for stopping by my profile! Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect, learn more, or just say hello. Looking forward to meeting you!Interests

I am fluent in both English and Spanish, shaped by a unique blend of Chilean and Japanese heritage that values intercultural connections (also I am learning Japanese). Growing up in a bilingual family and receiving bilingual education have enriched my understanding of diverse perspectives. I’m passionate about connecting with people, whether through a friendly game or a meaningful conversation. I love all kinds of board games—especially card games and chess—as they bring people together and sharpen the mind. I’m also an active person who enjoys snowboarding, exploring new places, and swimming in rivers, lakes, and oceans.
