Estoy en Workaway porque, en mi opinión, es una de las mejores formas de viajar despacio y conocer a gente local inspiradora y sus proyectos. Creo que visitar un lugar extranjero sin entrar en contacto con la gente que vive allí es un viaje incompleto.

Hasta ahora he sido voluntaria en una granja en España y en un rancho de caballos en Turquía, guiando y acompañando excursiones, cuidando de los caballos y realizando tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento general. Ambas experiencias fueron una excelente mezcla de trabajar con propietarios locales, conocer su trabajo y la cultura también conociendo amigos locales y disfrutando de estar en un lugar hermoso con animales y trabajo al aire libre.

Soy un viajero apasionado con un amor particular por América del Sur. Desde que llegué por primera vez a permanecer más de un año sobre todo en Colombia me enamoré de la cultura latina y hablar español muy bien me abrió el camino para una inmersión profunda en la cultura, la historia y la vida de la gente amable. Desde entonces he tenido preferencia por el acento argentino, así que ahora por fin estoy cumpliendo mi sueño de viajar por este fascinante país.

Aparte de viajar me encanta todo tipo de deportes al aire libre, especialmente el senderismo que practico mucho. También me gusta la jardinería, bailar y hacer vida social. En general soy una persona muy activa y sociable.

I am on Workaway since in my opinion its on of the best ways to travel slowly and get to know some inspiring locals and their projects. I think visiting a foreign place without getting into touch with the peolpe living there is kind of a incomplete journey.

So far I have volunteered on a farm in Spain and a horse ranch in Turkey, guiding and accompanying tours, taking care of the horses and doing cleaning and general maintenance. Both experiences were an excellent mix of working with local owners, getting to know their work and the culture also by meeting local friends and enjoying being in a beautiful place with animals and outdoor work.

I am a passionate travller with a particular love for South America. Since I came first to stay more than a year mostly in Colombia I fell in love with the latino culture and speaking spanish very well opened me the way for a deep dive into culture, history and kind peoples lives. Ever since I had a preference for the argentinean accent so now I am finally fulfilling my dream of travelling this fascinating country.

Apart from travelling I love all kinds of outdoor sports, especially hiking I do a lot. I also like gardening, dancing and socialising. In general I am a very active and sociable person.
