  • Description

The mains reasons I joined the workaway network are to learn new skills, particularly manual and construction work, participate to farming project and be part of a community.I hope to find a project where I can make a real contribution and where I can discover new activities and sides of me that are sleeping (like the builder Juliette within me).

I am originaly from a small hamlet in Elsass, where I grew up surrounded by beautiful forests and nice animals ( and I miss that a lot).
Next year, I want to start a formation in France, about natural environnement protection. Until then, I want to put my energy to learn and practice in this field into a Workaway project where I can do outdoors work ( farming, construction, educational activities,..) while being respectful / regenerative of our environment.

Being active in community and assosiation work I have a deep interest in the Solidarity and Social Economy. That is why am looking for or a place where I could learn more about permaculture, eco-construction, self-subsistence, animal caring, and so much more.
I am also curious about community driven project, and horizontal organisational structures.

I am curious and energetic. I feel my best when I am outside and active, that's why I love mountain sports such as hiking and climbing, but I also enjoy calmer activities like knitting, cooking or just reading.

I am particulary looking for a Greek project. In 2022-2023 I did an Erasmus year in Athens where I stared to learn Greek, met nice people, and enjoyed greek dancing. I still dream about the food and beautiful mountains, and so would love to continue this journey!

For 6 months I was part an an association aimed at raising awareness about biodiversity perservation. Through a permaculture garden, I taught a young public how to plant and grow vegetables, how to take care of a garden while respecting the surrounding biodiversity, soils, air and water.
My team and I also proposed different workshops including; painting with natural pigments, painting on rocks, neighbourghood waste gathering, making smoothings from "rescued" fruits, and seeded papier-mâché, among others.
I participated in the creation of two games, one about Transformative Economies, and the other about Biodiversity and Interculturality around the world.
I have plently of experience in associative kitchens, from a professional integration canteen, to a food distribution centre serving people in precarity, to festival self-organised ktichens.
