My wife (Oxsana) and I are looking for various volunteer opportunities to break-up our travel segments. We are a retired couple from the United States that have been backpacking through South America for over 2 years. We look forward to volunteer opportunities that allow us to give back locally, expand our awareness, develop new relationships and exercise our skills.

She has been to the Sivananda Ashram center a number of times to take various professional training programs and to Vipassana meditation centers a number of times for 10 day silent retreats. During a previous 3 month volunteer period at Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas, Oxsana worked in the kitchen, general grounds maintenance - organizing & cleaning community areas and was a personal assistant to an older female Swami. She is well organized & detail oriented.
