Description
We are Lucie and Charles, a couple from Vancouver, BC, Canada. We are exploring Australia for a year and are excited to meet people and learn new things. Back at home, Charles is a certified welder and Lucie just finished her bachelor's degree in science. We enjoy the outdoors, frequently hiking, skiing, climbing and fishing together. We are also crafty people. Charles likes to tinker with small welding and carpentry projects. He also tends to a garden at home. Lucie enjoys crocheting and sewing.

Lucie likes working with her hands. She has work experience in molecular biology labs, animal rescue centers, and food service. She enjoys crafting and knows how to use a sewing machine for simple projects and repairs. Lucie is also a proficient at cooking and gardening.

Charles has work experience and certifications in welding as well as work experience in framing. He also has lots of experience in gardening , landscaping and cooking at home. Charles is comfortable caring for domestic animals such as dogs, cats , fish and rodents.

We had a great stay with Bill and Cam and their animals. We stayed in a small hut on the property that had everything we needed (even a wood stove!). Every project was engaging and allowed the both of us to learn some new skills. We also had the opportunity to discover the local beaches which are absolutely breathtaking.
Would recommend!

We had a great stay with Lauren and her dogs! We felt right at home and had all we needed. Lauren is full of life advice and we had plenty interesting chats. Everyday was a little adventure and we had loads of fun. There's a wonderful reserve nearby where there are some great trails and kangaroos galore!
Would recommend!
