Hi everyone! 😁

I’m Marie, a passionate traveler looking to explore the world, try new experiences, meet people, and learn as much as I can! My first Workaway experience was incredible, and everyone I met shared beautiful memories with me about this way of traveling. It’s such an amazing way to immerse yourself in the true life of a country and create deep connections with people.

Usually, I work as a pastry chef in restaurants, but since I started traveling, I’ve loved trying new jobs and being helpful wherever I go. I believe that being surrounded by nature is true luxury. I’m a positive person, happy to work hard, and I love anything that involves hands-on work, helping, and sharing with others.

In my free time, I love cooking and sharing good meals, photography, cats, hiking, swimming, being out in nature, traveling in my van, and laughing a lot… just to name a few things!

I’m just starting a very exciting new trip for approximately two months!
I'm beginning in San Francisco, and I want to ride a motorbike (still need to find one, haha) along the California coast.

On the way, I’d love to find a surf camp to keep learning how to surf. 🏄‍♀️

I also want to visit some of the beautiful U.S. national parks — it’s all part of the plan!

I’d love to share this adventure with people along the way, and to be honest, Workaway will also help me keep things more affordable.

I was working in restaurant (cook and pastry) since a long time. I started to work during the summer when I'm at school.
I started active life, soon to be independent.

I did also grape harvest, reception at hotel, waitress, housekeeping and during my last Workaway I learn about maintenance skills and I shovel snow.
