Description

We are a multi generational couple with vastly different skill set and interests.
Marija is a former teacher and a cook. Knowledgeable about languages, teaching and food. She has taught English as second language. She makes the average meal taste wonderful. Even made Norman love vegetables, not an easy feat.

Norman is great with numbers and owned a marketing company fulfilling the sales role, so lots of people skills, marketing expertise and organizational talents. He has some light maintence skills and has volunteered as native English speaker to help other master English, and worked in soup kitchen.

We have been traveling together for 3 years. Looking forward to making ourselves useful for the right project!

Marija
I’m friendly, curious, and happy to help with different kinds of projects. I’ve worked as a teacher and project manager, teaching English (ESL, Cambridge, IB) to both kids and adults, and have also done research work, mostly in education. I love cooking—especially vegetarian food, as I’ve been vegetarian for almost 30 years. Being in the kitchen, trying new recipes, and sharing meals brings me a lot of joy. I also sing (mostly jazz), teach yoga (I’m a certified Hatha yoga teacher), and enjoy learning new things wherever I go.
Norman
I’m a eager worker, friendly and cooperative. Open to wide variety of tasks and assignments but prefer working in a group
I enjoy working in a soup kitchen, like animals, understand that mundane jobs need to be done too
Native English speaker with good grammar.
