Hello,

I'm Martial, a qualified and passionate carpenter from France.
Building and woodworking are real passions that allow me to express my creativity and know-how.

My travel plans
After 3 months in North America, I'm now traveling to South America for a year!
I'll be visiting Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. I'm looking forward to discovering these rich and varied cultures, and hope to get involved in local projects thanks to Workaway.

My skills
Carpentry: I have solid experience in wood construction. I'm always willing to learn new techniques and share my knowledge.
Community: I'm familiar with group life, adapt easily and take initiative. I enjoy working with associations on social projects in France.
Languages: I speak French, I can communicate in English and I'm learning Spanish as I go along.

What I'm looking for
I'm looking for opportunities where I can contribute my skills while learning from others. I also hope to make connections with like-minded people.

About me
I'm a nature lover, open-minded, patient, calm and a good listener.
I'm touched by art and culture (concerts, theater, shows, museums).
In my free time, I like to practice board sports (like surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding).
I also enjoy cycling, climbing and hiking in the mountains. In my travels I've learned about the world of sailing.
I can also spend time indoors drawing, reading, playing music and a lot on the computer (writing, sorting photos, video editing).

I'm looking forward to meeting welcoming hosts who share my passion for the outdoors and manual labor in this adventure.

Soy Martial, un carpintero apasionado de Francia.
Trabajar la madera es una auténtica pasión que me permite expresar mi creatividad y mis conocimientos.

Mi plan de viaje
Después de 3 meses en América del Norte, ahora estoy viajando por América del Sur durante un año! Visitaré Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador y Colombia. Estoy deseando experimentar estas culturas ricas y variadas y espero participar en proyectos locales a través de Workaway.

Mis habilidades
Carpintería: Tengo una sólida experiencia en construcción en madera. Siempre estoy dispuesto a aprender nuevas técnicas y compartir mis conocimientos.
Comunidad: Estoy familiarizado con la vida en grupo, me adapto fácilmente y tomo iniciativas. Me gusta trabajar con asociaciones para proyectos sociales en Francia.
Idiomas: Hablo francés, puedo comunicarme en inglés y estoy aprendiendo español sobre la marcha.

Lo que estoy buscando
Estoy buscando oportunidades en las que pueda aportar mis habilidades mientras aprendo de otros. También espero conectarme con personas que compartan las mismas pasiones.

Acerca de mí
Soy amante de la naturaleza, de mente abierta, paciente, tranquilo y atenta. Me conmueve el arte y la cultura (conciertos, teatro, espectáculos, museos)
En mi tiempo libre me gusta practicar deportes de tabla (como surf, snowboard y skate). También disfruto del ciclismo, la escalada y el senderismo de montaña.
En mis viajes aprendí el mundo de la navegación.
También puedo pasar tiempo dentro de casa para dibujar, leer, tocar música y mucho en la computadora (para escribir, ordenar fotos, hacer edición de videos).

Espero conocer anfitriones acogedores que compartan mi pasión por la vida al aire libre y la artesanía en esta aventura.
