I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. I like to visit cities but I am a country girl at heart. I love to be and work in nature. I also love to help people shine to see their best side. My work background has been working with people with disabilities in farm based communities. Doing art therapy and psychotherapy with individuals and groups. I am also an artist and love to be engaged in creative process. Everyone has an artist inside. My children have flown the nest so I am now free to explore new adventures. I am open and friendly.

I am very good with people and communication. I am a practical person and love the feeling of satisfaction in doing a job well. I have skills in gardening and house maintenance, I have worked in tourism and can run workshops and teach. I am happy to work alone or in a group. I am flexible and am happy to do different kinds of practical work both indoors and out. I can take responsibility and be trusted to carry out instructions.

My career has been in Art Therapy, Hypnotherapy/Psychotherapy and I practice Reiki. I am very interested in the field of human psychology and creative process through art. I am also an artist.

I spent 10 days with Rita and her family. I was embraced into the family from the moment I arrived. The location of the property is really peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. It was a pleasure to work in the gardens and work with Rita. She is a woman who has the utmost respect and connection with her natural environment. She is an… read more inspiration in her wholistic approach. The work was a pleasure to do and Rita was clear with her communication even though her English is beginners and also my Italian.
This was my first workaway and the most important thing for me was how Rita and her family supported me to feel at ease. It was a wonderful cultural and human exchange. I experienced kindness joy and laughter and within this we accomplished care for the garden.
Rita's sister prepared the most delicious food every day. In her youthful age of 83 this was a real gift. I also appreciated all of her brothers beautiful sculptures around the garden. He has a true artists soul.
In her free time Rita took me to the most beautiful beaches and cliff top walks. We also visited a number of Nuragic sites. They were of great interest to me because I regularly visit megalithic sites in Ireland.
If you wish to visit Sardinia an experience with Rita and her family will never be forgotten.
Thank you Rita for your kindness and opening your life, family and friends to me.

Ho trascorso 10 giorni con Rita e la sua famiglia. Sono stato abbracciato alla famiglia dal momento in cui sono arrivato. La posizione della struttura è davvero tranquilla e immersa in una natura meravigliosa. È stato un piacere lavorare nei giardini e lavorare con Rita. È una donna che ha il massimo rispetto e connessione con il suo ambiente naturale. È un'ispirazione nel suo approccio olistico. È stato un piacere svolgere il lavoro e Rita è stata chiara nella comunicazione anche se il suo inglese è da principiante e anche il mio italiano.
Questo è stato il mio primo workaway e la cosa più importante per me è stato il modo in cui Rita e la sua famiglia mi hanno aiutato a sentirmi a mio agio. È stato uno scambio culturale e umano meraviglioso. Ho sperimentato la gentilezza, la gioia e il riso e in questo contesto abbiamo realizzato la cura del giardino.
La sorella di Rita preparava ogni giorno il cibo più delizioso. Nella sua giovane età di 83 anni questo è stato un vero dono. Ho apprezzato anche le bellissime sculture di tutti i suoi fratelli nel giardino. Ha un'anima da vero artista.
Nel tempo libero Rita mi portava nelle spiagge più belle e nelle passeggiate in cima alla scogliera. Abbiamo anche visitato numerosi siti nuragici. Sono stati di grande interesse per me perché visito regolarmente i siti megalitici in Irlanda.
Se desideri visitare la Sardegna un'esperienza con Rita e la sua famiglia non sarà mai dimenticata.
Grazie Rita per la tua gentilezza e per avermi aperto la tua vita, la tua famiglia e i tuoi amici.
