Heya, I’m Maya and soon I look forward to spending a little bit of time experiencing Sri Lanka.
I love to learn, play, create things, garden and be in wild places.
Originally I'm from Tasmania and have spent some time in the recent-ish past exploring the abundant lands of Aotearoa in my tent and wandering/ hitchhiking around Ireland/ Europe. More recently I have been with my community in Tasmania working together to protect our remaining ancient forests and to support compassionate futures for all. I am very keen to experience a variety of ways of living, values, intentions, projects and skills. I love to meet new people and hope to contribute to the wellness and abundance of the folks I encounter and the lands I am on :-)

Over the past few years I’ve spent my time (when not travelling) working as a chef and a guide, volunteering at my local permaculture community garden/ co-op, taking part in frontline environmental activism and grassroots organising for positive social/environmental change. (I'm also a serial collecter of creative hobbies aha)

I’m a bit of a mixed bag of skills and experiences but I’m a fast and diligent learner with a care for detail!
