Description
Hello! We are Megan and James :) We are a loving couple who are eager to work in Japan in June.
We have been together for a year now. I am originally from Hawai’i but live in New York City! I graduated from Boston College with a Communications degree this past May and am pursuing a career in acting. James is from Michigan and graduated from MIT. He is pursuing a career in finance.
We both have field experience and love getting our hands in the dirt. We are hard workers and aren’t afraid to sweat! I’ve worked on 2 farms in Italy, one was organic through Workaway and one was a permaculture farm through the World Wide Organization of Organic Farming. James worked on a farm and community school in Guatemala in August and loved it. We can plant, weed, harvest, haul large items, and more. James has a background in construction as well.
I personally am passionate about organic farming. I once wrote a 20-page paper about it in university! James is passionate about climate change. His thesis for his master's degree revolves around methane pollution, he tracked down sites in the US where there are major emissions.
