Hello, I'm Melissa.
I’m from Germany and currently studying Urban and Spatial Planning for my Bachelor's degree. I really enjoy gaining new experiences, meeting inspiring people, and exploring the world—especially in beautiful places. That’s why I signed up for Workaway. :)
In my free time, I love being creative and experimenting with DIY projects. I’m also teaching myself how to play the guitar and enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors with friends and in nature.
I've already done a bit of volunteering, like working at a surf camp and on a farm in Austria via Workaway. I loved both of these experiences, which is why I'm keen to do more workaways and meet great people.

Since I grew up in a house with a garden, I learned early on how to take care of flower beds, mow the lawn, and tackle small projects around the house. I’ve also done quite a bit of painting—whether walls or furniture—and I love how even small changes can make a big difference.
In my free time, I enjoy getting creative with DIY projects. I always have fun trying out new things and figuring things out as I go. I’m the kind of person who likes to roll up their sleeves and get things done, and I don’t get easily stressed, even when faced with something completely new.
